As a Company Secretarial Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our Legal & Company Secretarial Team, keeping things running smoothly. From managing company records and compliance filings to supporting board meetings and due diligence, you'll play a key role in keeping the team organised and on track. You will also get hands-on with legal processes and ad hoc projects—so no two days are the same. If you’re detail-driven, proactive, and eager to make an impact, this role would be well suited to you.

You will be responsible for:
* Records & Compliance: Keep company records in shape, both online (Diligent Entities) and offline. Support the rollout of the document management system (HighQ) and keep Group structure chart up to date.
* Statutory & Regulatory Compliance: Stay ahead of compliance filings for UK entities and ensure FCA-regulated entity meets its reporting deadlines.
* Board Meeting Support: Help pull together agendas, board packs, and papers. Minute-taking opportunities for the right person!
* Due Diligence & KYC: Handle third-party background checks and client requests, supporting finance and treasury with bank account admin.
* Legal Team Support: Get involved in M&A and investment activity—due diligence, disclosures, and document execution.
What you’ll need
* Experience working in a company secretarial team (preferred), legal executive role, or as a paralegal in a corporate or professional services environment.
* You’ve got strong attention to detail and can juggle priorities in a fast-moving environment.
* You take charge of tasks, see them through, and thrive on accountability.
* Adaptable and proactive—you take instructions and run with them.
* You know how to handle confidential information the right way.
* A good understanding of company structures is a big plus.
* Strong communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills.
* Database management know-how is a bonus.
