Belmont Recruitment is seeking an experienced Recovery Worker to join the Alcohol Team at a respected private charity in Durham. About the Role: As a Recovery Worker, you’ll provide comprehensive support to clients with alcohol dependency, guiding them through their recovery journey. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, offering tailored interventions and promoting harm reduction strategies to help clients achieve lasting change. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing a caseload of clients with alcohol dependency, developing person-centred recovery plans. Conducting assessments to identify client needs, risks, and goals. Delivering harm reduction advice and structured interventions, including relapse prevention. Facilitating one-to-one and group recovery sessions. Liaising with external services to ensure seamless care coordination. What You’ll Need: Enhanced DBS clearance (essential). Experience working with alcohol-dependent clients in a recovery-focused setting. Strong knowledge of harm reduction, safeguarding, and alcohol misuse interventions. Excellent communication and case management skills. What’s on Offer: Competitive hourly rate of £18.50 - £20.00 (dependant on experience). Monday-to-Friday working schedule with no weekend shifts.
