Then we want to hear from you About the Role As our Facilities Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the maintenance, compliance, and operational efficiency of all site infrastructure and building systems. From overseeing steam boilers and electrical systems to managing water hygiene and refrigeration, you will be responsible for keeping our facilities running safely, smoothly, and in line with all statutory and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Leading the maintenance and efficient operation of key site infrastructure, including HVAC, effluent treatment, and utilities. Managing preventative maintenance plans to reduce downtime and ensure long-term reliability. Overseeing statutory inspections and ensuring full compliance with regulations such as PSSR, ACoP L8, EICR, and F-Gas. Acting as the site Duty Holder for Electrical and Legionella management. Driving continuous improvement in energy efficiency and waste reduction. Leading and developing a high-performing Facilities team, fostering collaboration across departments. Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective procurement and contract management. What We’re Looking For: A degree or time-served qualification in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field. Proven experience in a Facilities Manager role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of compliance for site services and infrastructure, including steam boilers, pressure systems, and refrigeration. Knowledge of Legionella control, electrical safety, and building maintenance best practices. Experience managing audits, inspections, and insurance compliance. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
