Glaven Ward is looking for a Staff Nurse as we seek to support nurse led care in our Acute Services at Hellesdon Hospital.
This is a very exciting post which will allow you to use your clinical skills and leadership to help develop our nursing team and yourself to ensure we are providing excellent and compassionate care to our service users.

Main duties of the job
The main duties are:
1. Assessing patients and delivering care specific to needs
2. Monitoring the effectiveness of treatment including medication and activities
3. Developing junior staff
4. Providing assurance of patient safety
We will provide you with regular clinical and management supervision with an emphasis on reflective practice. We hold a strong belief in team and individual development. We provide a full induction program and have extensive training and career development that can be accessed across our Trust.
Management
Responsible for the line management of identified members of the service. Monitor the practice of junior staff and identify any learning and development needs in respect of the clinical skills base. Maintain own and lead/supervise staff in maintaining professional, therapeutic relationships/boundaries with patients, carers, and colleagues. Provide and ensure provision of regular line management supervision and appraisals to junior members of staff.
