Group Financial Controller
Location: Stonehouse
Salary: Competitive (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Hours: 36.5 per week – Monday to Thursday: 8.30 am – 5.00 pm, Friday: 8.30 am – 1.00 pm

Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Financial Controller to join a leading manufacturer with a global presence. The company supplies cutting-edge engineering solutions across various industries, including oil & gas, petrochemical, and the emerging green-tech sector, and is on a transformational 5-year growth journey.
Reporting to the CFO, you will play a crucial role in financial and operational reporting, driving process improvements, and supporting the delivery of strategic goals.
Experience Required:
* ACA/ACCA/AAT Level 4 or equivalent qualification, or demonstrable experience in a similar role.
* Proven experience in multi-currency and multi-territory financial reporting.
* Expertise in accounting systems, consolidation of reporting, and data integrity management.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts and financial/operational reports.
* Oversee ERP implementation and enhance reporting capabilities.
* Calculate long-term revenue accounting for the UK market.
* Submit quarterly management accounts for bank reporting.
* Coordinate and improve budgeting and forecasting processes across the group.
* Prepare and consolidate global sales and revenue reports.
* Oversee statutory reporting, including the annual financial statements audit.
* Manage global financial statement consolidation to UK holding companies.
* Liaise with external accountants and coordinate overseas audits to meet UK timetables.
* Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to the CFO.
* Ensure consistent use of nominal ledgers and reporting conventions across the group.
* Implement system-based improvements for reporting and control.
