Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional HR Partner to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in providing HR support and guidance to their schools, staff and stakeholders. This role requires a proactive individual who can partner with the wider HR team to drive HR initiatives that support business goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
Our client is a highly successful multi-academy trust that provides excellent quality, comprehensive, non-selective and inclusive education through primary schools and secondary schools. Their schools are based in London, Surrey, Berkshire, Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire, Bristol and Plymouth.
They also have three shared service hubs with remote / hybrid working opportunities where appropriate. Main responsibilities:
The Regional HR Partner will support the Director of People and Head of HR to provide a professional, consistent and effective HR service to all their Schools, staff and stakeholders and to the Trust Shared Service. This will include being the professional HR expert on all HR matters and ensure that the Trust remains wholly compliant with all legislation and educational regulations.
This role will be supporting a group of schools within the Sutton / Outer London area whilst also leading on the delivery of key HR projects, with an emphasis on learning and development, as part of the wider GLT HR team.

4. Employee Relations
5. Payroll/Budgetary support
6. Analysis Reporting
7. Line Managing HR Leads in allocated schools
You will need:
8. Chartered Member of CIPD or equivalent or working towards
9. Level 5 CIPD qualification
10. Substantial experience in a Senior HR role or in a generalist HR role
11. Strong employment law knowledge with the ability to apply employment law concepts in a flexible way balancing legal compliance with Trust values
12. Experience of leading L&D activity or an interest in this area
13. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written – able to deal with a variety of people sensitively, empathetically and, when necessary, assertively
The following would also be an advantage:
14. A good understanding of the education sector and in particular, the conditions of the Burgundy and Green Book
15. Experience of PAYE and Pensions administration
16. Sound knowledge of appropriate payroll and financial strategies.
17. Experience of leading a team
18. Experience of ITrent or other HRIS systems.
19. Line management experience
20. Knowledge of budget control and management
21. Use of car and current driving licence (travel to various schools in your area is a key part of the role)
