Are you experienced in supporting individuals with opiate addictions and passionate about empowering people on their recovery journey? Belmont Recruitment is looking for a skilled Recovery Coordinator to join a dedicated opiate team of a private charity in North Yorkshire. About the Role: You’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality support to individuals managing opiate dependency. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will develop tailored recovery plans, provide harm reduction advice, and collaborate with partner agencies to ensure effective care. Your responsibilities will include: Managing a caseload of clients with opiate dependency, delivering person-centred support. Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify needs and recovery goals. Delivering harm reduction interventions, including advice on safer use and overdose prevention. Liaising with prescribing services and other agencies to coordinate care. Supporting clients through structured recovery programmes, fostering long-term change. What You’ll Need: Enhanced DBS clearance (essential). Experience working with opiate clients in a recovery-focused setting. Strong knowledge of harm reduction, safeguarding, and substance misuse interventions. Excellent caseload management and organisational skills. What’s on Offer: Competitive hourly rate of £18.50 – £20.00 (dependant on experience). Flexible working hours, Monday to Friday. Initial 3-month contract with opportunities for extension.
