We are looking to recruit a dynamic and forward-thinking technician to take on an exciting pharmacy IT role. The job site can be flexible; we are open for you to work from any one of our 3 sites (Basildon / Southend / Broomfield).
You must be an excellent communicator with outstanding IT skills who works well independently as well as within a team.

Main duties of the job
You will work as part of a wider Pharmacy IT team supporting and developing pharmacy and Trustwide IT systems. You will be responsible for your own portfolio of MSE pharmacy systems as well as being part of the senior IT team across the MSE. You will also support the clinical pharmacy teams in investigating and tracking medicine saving schemes, as well as producing a variety of reports both internal and external to the organisation.

Electronic prescribing is firmly established on our Southend and Basildon sites, and we have been awarded funding to extend the system across our Broomfield sites, bringing significant safety and efficiency improvements for our patients and staff. This is an exciting time to work at our Trust with an extensive digital programme underway that will transform digital systems across our organisation.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Science
Leadership
* Evidence of demonstrating leadership in practice
Experience
* Experience using Clinical IT Systems at an advanced level
* Experience using Metavision
* Experience using WellSky ePMA
* 2 Years working within the MSE

Salary: £37,338 a year (Pro Rata for Part Time)
