We are looking for candidates to have some experience/attributes in the following key areas:
* Ideally at least 1 year’s experience in a warehouse-based role, or potentially a similar level role in a relatable field e.g. security, maintenance, retail, construction or facilities management
* You will most likely be a high school graduate (GCSEs and/or A-levels), with any additional certification in warehouse operations/logistics a distinct advantage
* Experience/knowledge of how E-Commerce and/or distribution environments operate would be highly advantageous
You will need the following skills in order to succeed in this role:
* Basic proficiency with inventory or warehouse management systems (training will be provided)
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for inventory tracking
* Strong attention to detail for ensuring accuracy in order processing and inventory tracking
* Good organizational skills to support efficient warehouse operations
* Proactive and positive attitude to learning in order to quickly get up to speed with warehouse processes and systems
* Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members to meet operational goals
Benefits:
* Working hours of 9am-5pm Monday to Friday – no weekends ordinarily speaking! Although very occasional weekend and bank holiday working may be required, these are rare
* 25 days’ holiday allowance per year (in addition to bank holidays)
* Uniform (PPE, etc.) will be provided
* Diverse, international workforce
* Fun social events outside of work
* We are very open to new ideas, so please feel free to suggest/request anything that we can do in order to make you more likely to perform at your maximum, and we will certainly do our best to implement it if it makes sense for everyone
