As a FinishingOperative in the paint shop, you will be responsible for the final stages of the painting process, ensuring each product meets high standards of quality and appearance. This role demands a keen attention to detail and exceptional manual dexterity to achieve flawless finishes. As a Finishing Operative you will have the below duties: Quality Inspection: Carefully inspecting painted products for defects such as drips, scratches, and inconsistencies in color or texture. Detail Finishing: Performing touch-ups, buffing, and polishing to achieve a perfect finish. Surface Perfection: Sanding and smoothing surfaces to ensure uniformity and a high-quality appearance. Precision Work: Applying decals, labels, or protective coatings with precision and accuracy. Record Keeping: Documenting completed work and reporting any issues or defects to the supervisor. Tool Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining finishing tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Team Collaboration: Working closely with other team members to meet production targets and maintain workflow efficiency. Safety Compliance: Following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful Finishing Operative will have the below skills and experience: Experience: Previous experience in a finishing role within a paint shop or manufacturing environment is preferred. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to identify and correct minor imperfections. Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise finishing tasks. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, and handle small tools and components. Knowledge: Familiarity with polishing, buffing techniques, and finishing tools is an advantage. Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
