Job summary Band 6 Senior Community Nurse 37.5 Hours- Secondment till September 2025 We are looking to appoint a Band 6 District Nurse into our friendly and supportive Brierley Hill District nursing team. You must have effective communication and negotiation skills. As an advocate for our patients, you need to have the ability to inspire people at all levels. This post would require that you had an understanding of the expanding role of community nursing and would have the commitment to take it forward. You will need a sound understanding of the current primary care agenda, with excellent communication skills and effective leadership and decision-making skills. You will need to be innovative and able to work autonomously whilst promoting a positive and supportive learning environment for team members and students. Main duties of the job The post-holder is responsible for the ongoing assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
