Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and student well-being.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and share best practices.
Participate in school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities, as required.
Requirements:
Qualifications: A relevant degree and a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
Experience: Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level, with a track record of improving student outcomes.
Skills:
Excellent subject knowledge in English literature and language.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Effective communication and organizational abilities.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a flexible working arrangement, with full-time hours preferred.
