Assistant Principal for Inclusion and SENCo
Salary information : Leadership, £58,893 - £64,593 per annum (depending on experience)
Start date : September 2025 however the position is available from April 2025

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a large, successful primary school within a primary specialist multi-academy trust. Hillingdon Primary School is a successful school and we are determined to maintain high standards and quality of teaching and learning for our students. Leaders are ambitious for these pupils and ensure that they follow the same curriculum as their peers, with adaptations to teaching if needed. As a result, these pupils achieve exceptionally well.’
What kind of person are we looking for?
* A leader who has an excellent ability to develop effective partnerships with staff, parents, pupils and the wider community agencies, including the Local Authority, in order to drive forward change and shape the future for our pupils with additional needs;
* An experienced teacher who is passionate about working with pupils and has inclusion at the heart of their practice;
* A specialist with an in depth knowledge of children’s learning and a detailed understanding of how best to support students with additional needs;
* A teacher who either holds the National Award for SENCOs or is keen to complete the newly created SENCO NPQ;
* A driven individual with the capacity to project and sustain a positive attitude and approach at all times; and
* An excellent, inspiring leader with the ability to manage, organise and motivate staff with diplomacy, sensitivity and good humour.
