We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join a small tight knit team ideally with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties including operating a forklift, ensuring the efficient movement of stock, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work well under pressure, and have a proactive attitude. Key Responsibilities: Requirements: Ideally a counterbalance Forklift Licence (not essential) Previous experience working in a warehouse environment. Good understanding of health and safety practices. Ability to work as part of a team and individually. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Desirable: Experience using warehouse management systems. Skills Required Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and move goods around the warehouse. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in an accurate and timely manner. Conduct stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records. Ensure goods are stored safely and in the correct locations within the warehouse. Assist with goods in/out, including checking deliveries and ensuring goods are correctly stored. Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
