Who we are looking for: This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting their local communities and is confident working in a customer facing role. As a Community and Grant Support Officer you will work as a part of the communities team undertaking all necessary tasks relating to the administration of our community grant schemes, whilst also supporting our health and wellbeing work. This role is a first point of contact for this responsive team, providing effective and efficient administration which includes planning our publicity campaigns, generating content for social media, including updating our website, organising events and meetings, maintaining and processing our grant management system and generating payments. We are looking to hear from an enthusiastic individual who is well organised and has the ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written, to join our vibrant dedicated communities team. Apprenticeship overview: This is an Administration Support Officer role, beginning with an 18-month Apprenticeship programme, at the end of which you will have learned to work flexibly across a multitude of tasks, contributing to and supporting the delivery of a high-quality service. Depending on your current level of qualifications you will study: Business Administrator (Level 3) – Apprenticeship Standard. A Level 2 in Functional Skills Maths would also be suitable. A candidate with a grade 3/D in Maths may be considered, however they will be required to complete a Level 2 in Functional Skills Maths. Applicants should also possess excellent communication and IT skills. Note: You are not eligible for this scheme if you currently hold or are working towards a qualification at the same or higher level in a related subject.
