We are recruiting for a Partnerships and Events Officer to join us on a two-year fixed-term contract to support income generation for the development of Our Inclusive Community Project (OICP), a new community for disabled people in Perth. You will be involved in fundraising by developing partnerships with corporate organisations and community groups. You will lead our special events, including concerts, balls, and golf days, and third-party events, which support the fundraising appeal for OICP.
OICP is a new community in Perth which will offer industry-leading support and state-of-the-art accommodation for disabled people. What youll be doing:
1. Managing a portfolio of community and corporate partnerships, as well as securing new partnerships
2. Developing a calendar of events with the support of the Head of Fundraising and Communications
3. Taking responsibility for the management, planning, and delivery of events
4. Managing our fundraising database (Raisers Edge) and leveraging information from the database to enhance income generation opportunities
5. Monitoring and evaluating the success of partnerships and events, providing accurate reporting to internal stakeholders where required
6. Securing high-value 5- and 6-figure gifts from corporate partners
Requirements for this role:
7. Demonstrable experience in securing funding from community and corporate partnerships
8. Experience in planning and managing events
9. Well-developed presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
10. A target-driven nature, with experience working to financial KPIs
11. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to use or learn to use CRM databases Raisers Edge experience is beneficial but not essential
