Leadership Opportunity: Head of Development Management
We are seeking a visionary and experienced leader to spearhead our Development Management (DM) service. This is an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension or conversion to permanent.
The ideal candidate will report directly to the Director of Planning, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our communities.
About the Role:
* Lead and manage the Development Management team, fostering collaboration and driving results.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulations.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including developers, community groups, and local authorities.
* Evaluate and improve processes, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service delivery.
Your Expertise:
* Proven track record in leadership and management within a similar service or related field.
* Extensive knowledge of planning policies, procedures, and legislation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and make informed decisions.
