We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated nurse to join our children's safeguarding team to cover the current post holder's maternity leave. As Specialist Nurse for Safeguarding Children, you will assist the Named Nurse and provide high-quality safeguarding advice, support, education, and guidance to the staff at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare Trust.
The successful post holder will be an innovative nurse committed to developing and supporting the safeguarding children team. You will need to have skills in managing a busy and varying case load of patients who require support from the safeguarding children team. You will also need to be confident at liaising with members of the multi-agency safeguarding providers across the two main counties we work with. You'll need to be involved in teaching and have basic IT skills, along with working knowledge of safeguarding children policies including The Working Together Document, Children's Act, and The Intercollegiate Document.
