1. You will support the Head of Safeguarding, Wellbeing and Health to ensure that Hartpury fulfils all of its statutory duties with regard to the safeguarding of children and adults at risk.
2. You will work with both internal teams and external agencies.
3. You will provide practical support and assistance to staff raising concerns as well as delivering training workshops and awareness raising sessions.
4. You will have line management responsibility for some staff in the Wellbeing and Residential Support Team.
5. There is a requirement for this role to share the 24/7 safeguarding phone with the Head of Safeguarding, Wellbeing and Health.
About You
6. Hold a minimum of a Safeguarding Level 3 qualification.
7. Extensive experience of working with young people in an appropriate setting.
8. Experience of managing a demanding case load and working with external agencies.
9. Passionate about supporting young people to succeed and overcome challenges.
10. Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
