Your new company An independent multidisciplinary practice and has been established for almost 50 years. Established in 1971 with around 100 staff within 5 offices across the South of England. They are engaged on a comprehensive range of projects in the public and private sectors encompassing new build, refurbishment, maintenance, and management. Providing an integrated consultancy service covering all aspects of the Design, Procurement, Management and Maintenance of the Built Environment. They have adapted to 'blend' office and home working as great and sustainable work/life balance for all the staff. Your new role
* Create, develop and implement project design concepts * Produce, analyse and advise upon specification and materials. * Liaise with key stakeholders and produce documentation for statutory approval authorities. * Design and manage health and safety matters related to projects (CDM) * Carry out design stage reviews in relation to designers and principal designers. * Conduct feasibility studies * Produce presentation drawings, sketches and renderings * Take projects through the entire RIBA plan of work from stages 0 to 6 * Lead designer / Principal designer * Quality Assurance and compliance * Coach and develop staff * Manage multiple projects through all RIBA stages * Lead teams * Outstanding organisational skills in prioritising work and meeting deadlines. * Excellent written, oral and articulate communication skills *

What you'll need to succeed Knowledge
* UK Planning Legislation * UK Building Regulations * RIBA Plan of Work * Principal Designer (CDM) * Principal Designer (BRegs) * Specialist guidance / design standards relevant to market sectors / building types * Sustainability / Low Carbon design * Bailey Partnership Policies and Processes * Proficiency with 3D Modelling including Revit, Enscape / Twinmotion, Vray, Sketchup, Microsoft Office / Google Suite, Autocad, Adobe Photoshop and other presentation software * Familiarity with working on historic buildings would be beneficial (Conservation)
Experience
* Registered Architect (ARB) * Chartered Architect (RIBA) * At least 10 years post-qualification experience * Work closely with multidisciplinary teams * Leading multidisciplinary teams
