Join a passionate, close-knit team and play a key role in developing and enhancing our MIS reporting suite, with a strong focus on data analysis to support teaching, learning, and assessment. In this dynamic and varied role, you’ll work closely with the Senior MIS Systems and Reports Developer and teams across the college to transform complex data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making. You’ll contribute to key projects that strengthen our data reporting structure, ensuring our systems remain ahead of the curve and meet both internal and external requirements. While data analysis will be your primary focus, you’ll also have the opportunity to support the development of web-based applications that enhance data accessibility and user experience. From refining workflows and building insightful reports to collaborating with IT on system enhancements, you’ll be an integral part of the college’s ongoing success. What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in developing and implementing systems, maintaining complex reporting structures, and streamlining workflows to support efficient processes.
* High level SQL knowledge and experience of using SQL Server.
* Ability to design and develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
* Experience of development using Power BI or other related reporting solutions.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, shown through your ability to communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
* Confident to deliver end user training.
* Solutions focused and able to demonstrate resourcefulness and resilience.
* Computing or IT qualification at level 4 or above.
* Able to work accurately and adapt to changing deadlines.
