We have exciting opportunities for motivated and passionate NMC registered midwives to join a welcoming team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust as we continue to expand and develop our maternity services.
We are looking for knowledgeable and confident midwives who will work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality, safe, and compassionate individualised care - making a real difference to families and outcomes.
The applicants will demonstrate experience in all aspects of midwifery and have the ability to work with us across our services in antenatal, consultant and midwife-led intrapartum, and postnatal care.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide midwifery care as per Nursing and Midwifery Council regulations and Trust policies.
You will practice competently and autonomously to provide a high standard of evidence-based and personalised advice, support, and clinical care to women and their babies during the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods.
The midwife will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), other agencies, and service user representatives.
