About The Role We are looking for Support Workers/Carers who care about making every moment matter for the people we support in our supported living service. Position: Full-Time Support Worker/Carers Location: Hull (HU8 postcode) You may also be required to work in Hessle (HU13), Holderness (HU8), Juniper (HU3) and community services (HU8) on Bransholme. Hours: The shift patterns will vary with the needs of the individuals we will be supporting, anything from a 7am start and finishing at 10pm as an average but there is flexibility on these hours. 12-hour contracts are a minimum for part time staff, with 40-48 hours per week on a full-time contract. This role will include weekend working. WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP. About you Are you enthusiastic, compassionate and committed to supporting people in a way which respects their dignity? You will need to be adaptable, flexible, with excellent communication skills and able to work as part of our team. Ideally you will have: Previous experience supporting people with learning disabilities Hold or be willing to work towards your Level 2 in Health & Social Care Previous experience with hoist is desirable 2 years minimum experience working within care.
