There is an exciting opportunity to join our elderly care medical ward 15 at County hospital. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic nurses to join our established ward team.
In Elderly Medicine we treat acute illnesses, chronic diseases, disability and frailty in our elderly population. Our patients will often have several medical conditions and the nurses help patients manage the reality that their bodies are becoming older, while at the same time continuing to empower them to be independent. The whole multidisciplinary team plays a vital part in complex care discharges, which often require specialist support.
We are also welcoming any student nurses due to qualify this year to apply. We offer a full preceptorship program and you will be given lots of support and training to consolidate your practice.
