We’re expanding and looking for a passionate and dynamic Assistant Dance Instructor to inspire and energise students of all ages in Gloucester.

Position Details:
This part-time role (with the potential to become full-time) allows you to assist our lead instructor in evening dance classes while also offering opportunities to develop and run your own schools in the future.
We provide ongoing support and training to help you thrive in your role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in Engaging Classes: Support in planning and delivering exciting dance lessons in street, hip-hop, and contemporary styles for students aged 3-18.
* Choreograph Unique Routines: Help create captivating routines for performances and competitions.
* Inspire and Motivate: Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students grow their skills and confidence.
* Organise Rehearsals: Assist in supervising and coordinating rehearsals to prepare for performances.
* Collaborate and Connect: Work alongside fellow instructors to coordinate events and performances that strengthen our dance community.
* Deliver After-School Clubs: Bring dance to life in schools through engaging after-school programs, birthday parties, and holiday clubs.
Marketing Duties:
* Spread the Word: Actively promote classes through social media, community events, and outreach (we’ll provide marketing materials and support).
* Grow Your Class: Enjoy enhanced pay for each student you onboard and retain as you build your dance family.
Qualifications:
* Previous dance experience is essential!
* Experience working with children is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills to motivate and connect with students.
* Dance education qualifications or certifications are a plus but not essential.
* A valid driver’s license is required for local travel.
* A DBS check will be required (we’ll assist you in obtaining this) and a first aid certificate is desirable.

* Job Type: Part-time, Freelance
* Expected Hours: 4 – 16 hours per week
* Location Expansion: Your role will start in Gloucester and may expand across Gloucestershire and Cheltenham areas.
