Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in History, Geography, and Religious Education (RE)
* Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback
* Create a positive learning environment that promotes inclusion and diversity
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials
* Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in Humanities or related field
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Humanities or related field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching History, Geography, and RE at secondary level
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, and Religious Education
* Effective classroom management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
* Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a school setting, following the academic calendar with term-time hours. Occasional extracurricular activities and evening events may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
