Our Service Delivery team has an opportunity for an End User Compute (EUC) Engineer in Preston for a 12 month fixed term period.
Our role
The overall purpose of the role is to act as a Subject Matter Expert within in the EUC service tower taking a senior lead in both our break/ fix service and project work for the ENW business.
The lead EUC engineer will work closely with the EUC tower lead, Architects, Product Change Managers and 3rd Parties in developing a sustainable, strategic EUC service.
Key Responsibilities of the role include leading on troubleshooting issues using a sustained analytical & logical approach ensuring these principles are followed by the rest of the team.
What we’re looking for
* Experience in a desktop support / end user compute support role;
* Knowledge of current and past Microsoft windows operating systems;
* Knowledge & experience with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Intune etc);
* Microsoft Active Directory & Azure Active Directory knowledge;
* Experience of remote desktop support tools as well as desktop / printer configurations;
* Extensive knowledge of mobile devices, specifically android and IOS;
* A valid UK driving licence.
