Financial Controller
Job Description
Location: Evesham
Salary: £50K - £60K (Dependent on Experience)
Hours of Work: Full-time, 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm. Hybrid working option will be considered for a small element of the week.
Reporting to: Director
Summary:
This role will be responsible for leading the Finance team and all Management Accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Finalising monthly management accounts
2. Completion of P11Ds and supervision of payroll
3. Micro Year ends for management company
4. Management of internal finance team, and Facilities & Contracts Manager
5. Supervision of cash flow reporting
6. Management of inter-company transactions and group transactions
7. Supervise all other company reports and provide regular analysis and reporting
8. Budget comparison and analysis
Skills & Attributes:
1. Knowledge and understanding of group accounting and best practice
2. Knowledge of RICS and CMP would be preferred
3. Excellent communicator both in writing and verbally
4. Previous managerial experience
5. Strong systems experience, excellent user of Excel
6. Highly organised, able to work on own initiative and supervise employees
7. Strong attention to detail
8. Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
9. Report writing skills
10. Good negotiator
11. A full clean UK driving license and access to own vehicle
12. Must be AAT qualified or hold a relevant level of CIMA or ACCA as a minimum
