What’s in it for me?
An opportunity for you to be a part of a consultancy, with global recognition due to over 100 international design awards over the last decade and 3,600 granted patents since 2000. You’ll be working on products that have changed the med-tech industry, where you’ll jump into projects, with the confidence that your work will land up actually going to market, seeing your work go out in the real world. Whilst the business sits at 156 people, you’ll be joining an electronics team of 6 people, so you still get to experience being part of a smaller tight-knit group of people making genuine impact across the business. You’ll experience work across different industries, largely med tech, but also being exposed to projects within consumer, commercial and industrial. You’ll also be joining a business that hasn’t lost sight of their culture and understands the importance of work-life balance and staff care, with genuine flexible working and 13:30 finishes on Friday, to jump into your weekends early. Your access to benefits will be a company performance bonus, profit-related pay schemes, overtime pay, technical development opportunities, car allowance, free car park pass for central Warwick which can be used anytime, regular company social events, relocation packages on offer and various other flexible benefits.
What will I be doing?
You will join the team as a senior electronics engineer, undertaking the development of hardware designs for various products. You’ll contribute to the planning and management of the electronics aspects of complex product development programmes. You’ll often experience working across the full product development life-cycle, taking responsibility for your own clients. You’ll also assume technical leadership, where you will direct and support other members of the project team, looking at the quality of hardware releases and documentation for your own project.
Where will I be doing it?
You’ll be doing all of this for a consultancy who takes care of their staff, ensuring professional development, clear career progression, plenty of projects and work to always keep you busy. You’ll also be working with a consultancy largely made up of other engineers, collaborating and meeting like-minded people in the beautiful town of Warwick, based 20 minutes away from Stratford upon Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare. Not only is this a great place to work, it’s also one of my personal favourite places in the UK due to the culture and incredible scenery.
