Job Overview
We are seeking a Sales/Branch Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in a very busy Trade Counter and Office environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering top-notch service, and be willing to "get hands dirty" to assist colleagues.
Duties
1. Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases
2. Utilise upselling techniques to increase sales
3. Maintain a tidy and organised sales floor
4. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
5. Answer phone calls and respond to customer queries
6. Assist with any work in branch that is required; we are a close team and all work together. Manual handling is required.
7. Pick and check orders
8. Offload and check incoming deliveries
9. Organise and assist with PI stock checks performed daily
Skills
1. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers
2. Ability to upsell products and drive sales
3. Good phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally
4. Basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately
5. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
Pay
We offer a competitive salary which is negotiable based on experience, and we also pay a profit-related bonus once a year.

Pay: £11.40-£11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
