Up to A£43,000 DOE + Increasing Holidays (Up to 6.6 Weeks) + Onsite Parking + Pension
Monday to Friday 06:00 to 15:00 (Some Flexibility Required)
Technical Manager required for a well-established and successful food manufacturer with a history of over 50 years. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to play an integral role within a company well known for the quality of its products.
The successful candidate will need experience in a similar role working within the seafood, meat or poultry industry. You will need experience with BRC audits, HACCP and will need experience managing a team.
The Technical Manager Role:
1. Day to day management of technical team
2. Management of Quality Management System to ensure compliance with BRC and HACCP standards
3. Continuous improvement of existing policies
4. Audits
5. Management of hygiene and QA team
6. Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions
7. Monitor and manage costs related to technical department (e.g. cleaning chemicals, testing etc.)
8. Shelf life and organoleptic testing
The Technical Manager Candidate:
1. Experience managing a technical team
2. Experience working with either seafood, meat or poultry
3. HACCP and BRC experience
4. Audit experience
