Overview
Home. There’s no place like it. And there’s no feeling like helping people create the joy of feeling truly at home.
At Dunelm, that’s what we do. We’re the UK's number one choice for homewares because we make home life lovelier for our customers. And the caring and supportive culture we've created makes this a place you'll feel right at home too.

We are committed to creating a fully inclusive environment that is representative of our customers and locations. We recognise the value and importance of inclusion and diversity and welcome applications from all candidates, regardless of sex, age, race, religion, disability, neuro-diversity, gender or sexual identity, socio-economic background or education.
What you'll be doing:
* Weekly reviews of forecast exceptions to ensure they reflect demand patterns and trends.
* Review new products and ensure appropriate product-location references are set.
* Work with Merchandising to understand demand trends and incorporate them into forecasts.
* Communicate forecast assumptions and results to stakeholders.
* Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment of forecast to business strategies.
* Review demand influencing events and anticipate future demand impact.
* Review and challenge master data inaccuracies.
* Perform specific pre and post analysis for key Promotion events such as Winter Sale.
* Stay up to date with the latest available methodologies and levers within the F&R tool.
* Justify and explain interventions into the forecast.
* Challenge Commercial teams to evidence their growth assumptions when forecasts do not align.
What we'll look for in you:
* Confidence and competence in using F&R’s toolset to administer forecasts.
* Achieving and maintaining a level of forecast accuracy in line with expectations set out by Category.
* Receipt of positive feedback from cross-functional teams on the reliability and usefulness of the forecasts.
* Newness forecasts align with Commercial Teams’ (Sunflower) expectations.
* Ability to confidently justify forecast adjustments to the Central F&R Team.
