About The Role
Contract : 1 year fixed term contract
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our successful Participant Experience team within the wider Events fundraising team.
The role supports the delivery of our event participants' stewardship journeys across a wide range of activities such as Memory Walk, Trek26 and third party runs and challenges. You will work closely with the wider Events team and be involved in every part of the stewardship journey, from sign-up to event day, ensuring we are building the strongest, long-lasting relationships with our supporters.
You will provide excellent supporter care to all our event participants using a mix of communication channels, including in person on event day, providing them everything they need to maximise their enjoyment and fundraising.
You will manage administrative processes for the Events team and take responsibility for maintaining supporter data.
With planning underway for our 2025 events season, this will be an exciting time to join us!
About you
We are looking for a passionate, ambitious, and self-motivated Events Fundraising Assistant who is dedicated to giving our supporters the best possible experience of fundraising for Alzheimer's Society.
You will have strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
You will be confident in managing data and databases and be motivated to improve data processes.
Experience of working with databases.
Customer/Supporter care experience.
Ability to work on multiple projects.
This is an exciting introduction to the charity sector within a role that is fast-paced, working on multiple events and projects. You will need to be highly organised and able to prioritise your workload and focus on the right task at hand to provide the biggest impact for the team and most importantly the lives of people affected by dementia.
