About You: Qualifications: Hold QTS/QTLS and the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be within the first three years of a SENCO role). NPQSL and/or NPQH is desirable. Experience: Experience working across the secondary age range, managing student discipline, and providing strong pastoral care. Skills: Highly motivated, energetic, and approachable leader with excellent relationship-building skills. Knowledge: Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusion in schools with high levels of vulnerable students. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges faced by students and implement appropriate support strategies. Communication: Confident in engaging with children, parents, carers, governors, and colleagues.
