Interim Senior Planner
Reference no: St Albans 5262111
Pay Rate: £35.70 per hour PAYE
37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
This opening assignment is for 5-6 months
City: ST ALBANS
Basic DBS disclosure required
Hybrid working, 1 day a week in the office including site visits
You will have significant experience dealing with small scale majors, complex minor applications and complex householders. You will be expected to be able to demonstrate similar work done including understanding of Green Belt policy and to be able to work confidently independently. Also demonstrate a track record of high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote large scale industrial and commercial, residential and mixed-use, urban regeneration, infrastructure and innovation-led development, and coordinating professional teams in the preparation and submission of major planning applications.
Prepare and submit representations to Local Plans.
Conduct site appraisals and manage projects.
Prepare planning and economic statements to support applications.
Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Key requirements:
MRTPI qualified with strong planning experience
Understanding of latest construction technology
Experience of considering planning issues.
Experience of managing workload in a timely manner
Prior experience of providing professional planning advice
Management skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
