About the role: Inpost/Menzies are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our parcels team. You’ll be working on behalf of Inpost/Menzies and its customers. Providing a first-class service with our team in Newbridge, this role is based on a basic 40-hour week working Wednesday - Sunday (flexibility required) Location: 1 Claylands road – Newbridge (Edinburgh) – EH28 8LF Shift Pattern: Wednesday - Sunday (Flexibility required) Hours: 16.00pm - 00.30am - 40hrs per week. Salary: £28,500 p/a What you’ll be doing: Set-up and run parcel sortation teams on shift Supervise parcel sortation team, ensuring all associated KPI's are met Coach, mentor and monitor teams overall performance Fix and regenerate customers parcels Manage full holiday rota for parcel sortation team Conduct performance reviews and manage all return to work meetings De-brief of drivers ensuring processes are followed correctly Ensuring all parcel sortation paperwork is completed Basic administrative duties Implement the H&S Policy, ensuring and maintaining safe working at all times Implement the Security Policy ensuring a secure passage of all goods Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be requested by Manager What we need from you: Proven experience in a supervisory role, ideally within a parcel sortation warehouse, with strong knowledge of automated sortation systems. MUST be process driven, fully understanding work flow process, with a busy warehouse environment. Expertise in flow management techniques to maintain efficient operations. Six Sigma certification or relevant experience in continuous improvement is a definite advantage. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to succeed. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams. Proficient in warehouse management systems and other relevant tech tools that support operational efficiency. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
