Ellington Infant School are looking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic Lunchtime Play Leader to join our friendly, inclusive Team.
This role would be 6.25 hours per week term time only.
We are developing lunchtimes to be an exciting and purposeful part of the school day. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated team to ensure the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the midday break, in accordance with the whole school positive relationships policy.
This is a very important role in the school. Lunches can be the busiest part of the school day and it will be the Play Leader’s role in creating a happy and productive lunchtime. We want to see happy and confident children playing and enjoying their time at school. The successful applicant will promote the lunch break as an opportunity to extend the curriculum and make it a positive play and learning experience.
We need people who want to make lunchtimes enjoyable and fun for the children. This is often a perfect way in for anyone looking for a career in Primary Education.
We also welcome applications from people with a specific area of interest, e.g., Sports, as we love to utilise the passions of our staff team.
