Moray Coast Medical Practice is seeking to recruit enthusiastic, highly motivated and organised medical receptionist/administrator to join our thriving practice. With over 10000 patients we are a large busy practice and therefore you would be joining a driven and dynamic team. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication, along with good computer skills and whilst advantageous to have knowledge of GP based IT systems such as VISION and Docman training can be provided. Outstanding interpersonal and administrative skills are required, alongside ensuring the ability to provide attention to detail and observe strict confidentiality. This is a fast paced post and duties include dealing carefully and sensitively with patients at Reception and on the phone, making appointments, result handling, dealing with general enquiries, processing repeat prescription requests, scanning clinical correspondence, dealing with delegated tasks from clinical staff and general administration. Working as part of a team, you must be able to co-ordinate a variety of office functions simultaneously. Previous experience in a medical environment is desirable. The hours of this post are negotiable with a maximum of 30 hours available. Contracted hours are worked on a rotational basis with flexibility to work more hours when required.
