We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team in a hospitality setting. The ideal candidate will assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service.
Duties:
1. Assist in managing staff, including training, scheduling, and supervision
2. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and oversee food production and preparation
3. Support in maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
4. Assist in managing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
5. Collaborate with the General Manager to develop strategies for business growth
6. Supervise various departments such as housekeeping, front desk, and food and beverage
7. Assist in bartending duties when necessary
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in hospitality, food production, or related field
2. Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
5. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
6. Experience in team management and overseeing daily operations
7. Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
