Job Summary:
Ormazabal UK Ltd is a dynamic and innovative engineering solutions provider, known for our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a highly motivated Facilities Administrator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manages cleaning staff and oversees sanitation and cleanliness of the facility.
2. Management of contractors who maintain/clean gardens and windows.
3. Induction and onboarding of contractors.
4. Compliance with regulations, LOLER, Gas safe, fixed wiring, LEV, FLT operation, fire inspections.
5. Schedules repairs and ensures equipment is operational.
6. Manages vehicle and vehicle accessories, including MOT schedules, inspection and records, repairs, hire vehicles, breakdown cover, license checks.
7. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of building systems including plumbing and electrical.
8. Manages supplies and materials needed for facility operations and maintenance.
9. Monitors and manages energy usage, looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
10. Weekly tests on fire alarm and emergency lighting.
11. Calibration of operational tools.
12. Manages security, control of keys and building access.
13. General assistance with the day-to-day operation of the production area, including:
1. Support with stock maintenance, booking in/out of goods.
2. Maintain cleanliness of the production area, making improvements if necessary.
3. Aid production engineers, contributing to production requirements.
4. Identify and communicate any potential health and safety risks in the production area.
14. Annual Activities:
1. Utilities annual quotes, contract and negotiation.
2. PAT Testing.
3. Fire alarm and security alarm service.
15. Special Project:
1. Support teams with modifications to the layout and operations, oversees facility improvement projects, electric charging, CCTV.
2. Interface with the landlord.
Experience/Qualifications/Skills:
1. Previous Facilities Management experience.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
4. Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
Experience and Attributes Desirable for the Role:
1. Health & Safety experience, IOSH, or equivalent qualification.
2. Industry knowledge in Engineering and Cleaning.

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
