Health and Wellbeing – access to mental health support specialists The Role Exciting and rewarding, a typical day in the life as a customer care agent you will provide assistance to passengers requiring support (PRS) arriving and departing through the airport. The service covers the operational schedule, 365 days per year and employs a diverse workforce to deliver this detailed & dynamic service. Escorting arriving and departing special assistance passengers Perform Customer Care Agent (CCA) duties as directed by Allocators and Host Staff Providing assistance with the PRS baggage. Completing the Daily Equipment Check Sheet, to maintain the operational reliability of the equipment Assist with the collection of wheelchairs when required and assigned on task, this could be from all areas of the airport including car parks and train station. To provide the highest level of customer service to all passengers at Birmingham airport. What are we looking for? We are looking for people who are passionate about helping others and keeping those around you both safe and secure. Excellent Customer Service Experience. Proven experience of working in a Public Facing Environment and or Events environments (eg Train Station, Museum, Airport, Concerts) Track record of strong communication skills. Basic IT Skills. Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure. Able to remain calm in challenging operational situations. A resilient and robust approach with confidence to take ownership for a diverse team. Proven Customer Service skills.
