CY Executive Resourcing are exclusively aligned with an incredible organisation to engage a qualified and confident Senior Finance Business Partner to join their Team.
The new Senior Finance Business Partner will build and maintain strong partnerships with all senior managers, taking a lead on directorate financial and resource matters; influence decision-making; improve the understanding of business performance; support development of financial strategies and deliver analysis and insight on business opportunities and provide options and scenarios for business decisions and planning.
Role Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Overseeing production of the monthly financial position including income and expenditure accounts and provide insightful detailed narratives on key variances to provide guidance to the Senior Leadership Team and support and influence decision making.
2. Driving the quarterly forecasting process influencing and challenging budget holders with financial planning and production of robust and detailed forecasts to optimise financial performance and drive efficiency.
3. Owning and designing reporting models, dashboards and systems to achieve accurate, timely and agile financial reporting processes and self-serve methods to support financial management goals of Directorates.
4. Reviewing cashflow forecasts and supporting the Head of Finance on management of cashflow, investments and general balance sheet management.
5. Leading on the production of the Annual Financial Budget providing direction and advice.
6. Work closely with non-finance colleagues to develop an awareness of financial performance requirements and the need for budgetary control, collaborating with Finance colleagues to continuously identify and improve the effectiveness of accounting systems, processes and financial reporting.
7. Producing ad hoc financial reports for Senior Management.
8. Leading, managing, motivating and developing colleagues to achieve deadlines, agreed work plans and service standards and to provide a customer focussed support service.
The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills. They will have a strong track record of providing high quality advice to both finance and non-finance heads and experience of working in the NFP/Charity sector.
Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA required alongside great Excel & IT skills.
