We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our Mental Health team at HMP The Mount, a category C Prison located in Bovingdon, Hemel Hempstead.
In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
Hours
Monday to Fridays: 08.00 - 16.00 or 09:00 - 17:00
Weekends & Bank Holidays: 08:45 - 17:00
Salary
You'll receive a bank hourly rate of £27.89 per hour (weekdays) and £31.11 per hour (weekends & bank holidays).

What you'll be doing
As a Bank Senior Mental Health Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Be responsible for assessment and ongoing management of our patients’ mental health needs.
* Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team as an autonomous practitioner managing a caseload of patients.
* Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.

Qualifications Required
* NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse
* Experience of working within mental health settings, developing knowledge and understanding of this patient group.
* Experience of working collaboratively with other agencies and stakeholders in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
