We are a well-equipped school with extensive grounds. The early years children from Riverwalk Special School are co-located on the site. We are looking for an experienced and inspirational Learning Support Assistant (LSA), who will enjoy and thrive on supporting a pupil with additional needs. You will need to be a positive proactive and willing and able to reflect and adapt your practice in response to the child's needs. Being passionate about inclusion and supporting the pupil to engage in learning and school routines will be essential. You need to form a positive and consistent relationship with the pupil, focussing on creating a calm, secure and consistent working environment around them. You will work independently with the pupil as well as with the class teacher and the SENCo. We hope that you will have experience working with pupils with children with specific learning needs/or have completed some relevant training.
