Your new role
* Assist in the development of equipment specifications and the subsequent evaluation and selection of equipment
* Be involved in the development of equipment solutions and layouts
* Work with the project workstream to identify risks relating to equipment
* Identify equipment transfer potential
* Work in collaboration with departments/services together with removals and disposals partners to organise Department level support in relation to equipment removals and transfers
* Carry out research and development work to support the effective discharge of responsibilities
* Serve as a central contact point for equipment maintenance and repair (excepting medical devices).
What you'll need to succeed
* Good level of educational attainment to degree level or equivalent experience
* CIPS level 4 qualification or equivalent procurement experience
* Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development
* Experience of equipment sourcing
* Desired, is someone who has previous procurement, healthcare experience
* IT skills and experience to support project management – Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Strong prioritisation skills to manage competing and unpredictable demands on time, whilst ensuring ongoing tasks are completed to deadline.
