We are looking for a GP to join our team. Why should you join us?
We are lucky to have two of the newest buildings in the area to work in, thus making our working environment a very modern one. Our second building was opened in January 2024.
We are proud to be one of the largest practices with over 24,000 patients and growing.
We are aware that being a larger organisation can present teamwork challenges and are therefore focused on staff wellbeing to ensure we operate as one team. We take time out for coffee breaks every day and hold two clinical meetings per week, to encourage our clinicians to collaborate and support each other. We have a social committee, with funds allocated and a wellbeing committee, also with dedicated funds to make improvements to our working environment.
With this population size, we are able to offer GPs a choice of specialist interests and we allocate a personal assistant to each GP to minimise the administrative work and focus on looking after the patients.
The clinical team currently consists of GPs, ANPs, Nurse Prescribers, Practice Nurses, Mental Health Nurses, Mental Health Support Workers, HCAs, Pharmacists, and Physiotherapists.
We are also very keen on teaching: We have a couple of GP Fellows, a GP trainer, and GP Teachers looking after 3rd, 4th, and 5th Medical Students from the local University, 5th year student placements from UCL in London, and we also train nurses at different levels.
Our core values are centred around Continuity as we believe that to be the cornerstone of Primary Care. We support Continuity with our everyday values: Respect, Teamwork, and Confidentiality.
What we ask of you:
1. Be a champion of Continuity.
2. Even though working as a GP can be lonesome, we encourage you to collaborate with the teams, both clinical and administrative.
3. We are here to facilitate your innovation: we are great believers in Continuous Improvement and therefore put great emphasis on supporting you in making positive changes in the workplace.
