Your Role as Year 5 Teacher:
As our Year 5 Teacher, you will:
Deliver Outstanding Lessons – Create engaging and challenging learning experiences that develop critical thinking and a love for learning.
Raise Standards & Inspire Progress – Use assessment effectively to track progress and ensure all pupils achieve their full potential.
Foster a Positive Classroom Environment – Promote curiosity, independence, and resilience in pupils through creative and stimulating lessons.
Collaborate & Contribute – Work as part of the KS2 team, sharing best practices and contributing to whole-school improvement.
Develop Key Stage 2 Learners – Support pupils in preparing for their transition to Year 6 and beyond.
Who We’re Looking For:
An Experienced KS2 Teacher – Minimum of two years’ experience teaching in upper KS2 (Year 5 or Year 6).
A Passionate & Motivated Educator – Committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
A Strong Classroom Practitioner – Skilled in behaviour management, differentiation, and adaptive teaching.
A Collaborative Team Player – Able to contribute to a positive and supportive staff culture.
A Qualified Teacher (QTS) – ECTs are not eligible for this role.
