An exciting, brand new Development Officer role has become available at a leading organisation in the Birmingham area offering a permanent position, hybrid working, and a range of benefits.
Position Details:
1. Contract: Permanent
2. Salary: £33-34k per annum
3. Location: Birmingham area/ hybrid
4. Working Hours: Monday to Friday/ 35 hours
Main Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support to the head of Development and keep internal records up to date
2. Create and process all purchase orders and deal with any queries
3. Set up and attend monthly cashflow meetings
4. Set up monthly meetings, producing agendas/ taking notes
5. Draft press articles for approval
6. Manage social media platforms and press-related releases
7. Arrange signing of contracts and maintain contract register
8. Manage defect queries and produce scheme out turn reports
9. Provide support during audits
Minimum Requirements:
To be successful as a Development Officer, you will need experience in:
1. Working within a development department
2. Working knowledge of financial systems
3. Basic understanding of Proval or similar software
4. Intermediate building technical knowledge would be desirable
