Position Overview:
As the Business Development Manager at Keiser Fitness, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key clients, and expanding our presence in key markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with a passion for the fitness industry and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth for Keiser Fitness’ innovative product line.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify New Business Opportunities: Research, identify, and target new potential customers and markets, including gyms, rehabilitation centers, sports teams, and distributors.
2. Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create tailored business development plans that align with Keiser’s growth objectives, focusing on expanding market share and building long-term client relationships.
3. Build Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across the fitness and health industries, positioning Keiser as a leader in fitness equipment innovation.
4. Lead Negotiations and Closures: Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring that all business opportunities align with Keiser’s brand values and customer needs.
5. Market Research & Insights: Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, new opportunities, and areas for product innovation.
6. Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on business goals, product offerings, and marketing campaigns.
7. Report on Performance: Track and report on business development metrics, providing regular updates to senior leadership and suggesting adjustments to the strategy when necessary.
Key Qualifications:
1. Proven Business Development Experience: At least 3 years of experience in business development or sales within the fitness, sports equipment, or health & wellness sectors.
2. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
3. Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to develop and implement successful strategies.
4. Self-Motivated & Results-Oriented: A driven professional with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
5. Knowledge of the Fitness Industry: Familiarity with fitness equipment, trends, and technologies is highly desirable.
6. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and business development software. Knowledge of digital marketing tactics is a plus.
7. Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in business, marketing, sports management, or a related field is preferred.
