Main duties of the job LIMITED TO EXISTING TEAM MEMBERS ONLY Building on your existing skills as a Senior Integration Developer, the roles utilise your existing skills and knowledge of the UHS Integration software As a lead developer, you will design and deliver integration functions and work with UHS systems and external suppliers. You will also design, build, and test integrations with minimal support. You will also work with other UHSdigital team members, liaise with suppliers, and document each project's technical delivery. You will also support the Hampshire and IOW EPR implementation and lead/attend various parts of that work stream. Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities Lead on providing operational support for the Trust’s integration engine, including the maintenance of existing interfaces and ensuring it is maintained to the highest possible standard Support the production of interface specifications and lead on developing solutions for the Trust's interfacing requirements. Be the trust’s subject matter expert on the technical capabilities of the integration engine to assist the Technical Solutions Manager and Informatics Development Manager in their decision making. Provide troubleshooting advice and develop one-off solutions to support a wide range of technical issues in the Trust. Support the development of in-house systems in accordance with the agreed standards Produce technical specifications and supporting documentation, including policies and procedures for delivered services and support others in similar tasks. Provide expert technical advice and assistance to the Trust in all matters relating to Informatics. Support reporting activities within the department and beyond. Person specification Qualifications / Training Required Essential criteria Degree in a computer related study plus demonstrable practical experience or considerable proven practical experience including experience at a senior/specialist level or equivalent (e.g. master’s degree). Accreditation in appropriate technologies. Previous or relevant experience necessary Essential criteria Considerable proven practical experience in a systems integration role including experience in a Health Informatics environment Strong systems development skills proven at a senior/specialist level Practical experience of specifying/developing Systems integration solutions, including knowledge of messaging systems such as HL7, XML, FHIR An understanding of NHS Data and Commissioning processes Experience of Windows server administration Understanding of Database design Team leadership experience NHS/Healthcare experience Desirable criteria Information analysis Networking technologies Production of technical documentation Working in a project managed environment Values and behaviours Essential criteria Patients First Always Improving Working Together
